We have added a new page here at Family, Faith & Home that we hope you and your family will find fun, enjoyable and in some cases, for the little ones, even educational. It is our Sing & Say page. There you will find lots of videos with Jim and some of the kids doing sing-a-long songs, as well as a few of me with the kids learning through rhymes. We will be adding to the list of videos we already have there, so be sure to check back regularly.
Less than an hour to go to reach our Children’s Scripture Memory Songs 2 Kickstarter goal. Thank you to everyone who has pledged and to all of you who have pledged just today. We are now at 62% of our goal! It’s exciting to see how far the total has jumped in just the last few hours!
If you haven’t already, would you consider making a pledge in these last few minutes? What a blessing it would be to reach 100% and to see the Children’s Scripture Memory Songs 2 CD get recorded!
You can check out our Kickstarter page, check out all the great rewards, and make a pledge, by clicking here.
Thank you so much!
We are in the last 3 hours of our Kickstarter campaign and are excited to be at 46% of our goal! With lots and lots of help we can still make it to our full goal, would you consider making a pledge in the next few hours?
His brow was pierced with many thorns
His hands by cruel nails were torn
When from my guilt and grief forlorn
In love He lifted me
As we think, in a focused way, on Christ’s crucifixion today, we are making the song file and lead sheet to the song “He Lifted Me” available as free downloads at, Jim Spencer Music.
Blessings to you, as you remember His death today, and as you celebrate His glorious resurrection this Sunday!

We are putting on a one day pledge drive today to raise 75% of our Kickstarter goal. You can learn more about it in our new Seriously Silly Update video here. Thanks!
Today we posted a fun video update at our Kickstarter page. You can check it out here.
We are rejoicing that another little one is on the way. This new addition to our family is due this fall. Thanking the Lord that I am past the sickness that typically comes with the first trimester and starting to have a little more energy! We are all looking forward with great anticipation to his or her arrival!
Many people have been asking when the next Children’s Scripture Memory Songs CD will be available. We are excited to announce we are ready to record the next project in the series, Children’s Scripture Memory Songs 2! This 2nd CD will have 13 brand new scripture memory songs.
We are launching a Kickstarter campaign today to fund the production of the CD. Kickstarter provides the opportunity for friends, family, acquaintances, and anyone, to be involved in the making of the project by pledging toward the production cost of the CD and in turn, those who pledge receive exciting rewards.
We would love it if you would check out our Kickstarter page which has a video describing the project as well as additional details about the campaign.
Thanks so much!
Last week, Jim posted an article at The Family Worship Resource Center reflecting on how doing family worship in your home is an important spiritual discipline but it is not a “magic pill” for raising the “perfect” christian family. We encourage you to check it out if you haven’t already.
For the beauty of the earth
For the glory of the skies
For the love, which from our birth
Over and around us lies…
I am reminded this morning of the Psalmist’s self-instruction, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits,…” Ps. 103:2 With even the most modest reflection, there is, for sure, so much to be thankful for – indeed, “…the Lord is good;…“ Ps. 100:5
May the Lord richly bless you today as you think on all of His benefits and give thanks to Him!
We hope you enjoy the little Thanksgiving lyric-video attached in this post!
Happy Thanksgiving, from all the Spencer Family!
